by Tessa Dare

Release Day: August 25th 2015

On the cusp of her first London season, Miss Madeline Gracechurch was shy, pretty and talented with a drawing pencil, but hopelessly awkward with gentlemen. Until years later, when this kilted…

Debbie Peterson’s Author Inspiration

Way back when, a hundred million years ago or so (okay, maybe not that far back) I had an elementary school teacher challenge the class to read as many books as we could during the school year. In conjunction with reading each book, we would also need to write a report that would give the class a brief synopsis. The winner of her contest would receive a gorgeous, white photo album and I wanted to win it! So, I started reading.

Miss Redd, this wonderful teacher who unwittingly fed my love of reading, had a shelf of books at the back of the room. I vividly remember that she had the entire set of Nancy Drew’s to date, but there were other books as well. It didn’t take me any time at all to get through the ones I wanted to read.

5 Rules to Follow While Getting Out From the Underworld by Shana Galen

There’s something about a bad boy that appeals to all of us good (and even not so good) girls. Give me a reformed rake, a debauched duke, or a bastard baron, and I’m in heaven. So when it came time to write The Rogue You Know, I had to look no further than my daughter’s DVD collection. While watching Tangled for the*mumble mumble* time, I had the idea to take the charmingly roguish thief Flynn Rider and base my next hero, Gideon Harrow, on him. The choice made perfect sense considering my…
